Training workshop on the Free Spirit Art project

A training seminar on the Free Spirit Art project – improving intercultural cooperation through stage and screen arts was held in the space of the SPACES foundation.

The workshop aimed to exchange cultural experiences, knowledge to promote different cultures and create common international creative products.
During the event was achieved:

  • exchange of experience and know-how for working with Roma ethnic groups
  • expanding knowledge and presenting practical methods and examples – examination of specific cases and effective work with Roma ethnic groups
  • eliminating prejudices related to working with the Roma community and promoting common cross-cultural creative products

The project “Free Spirit Art – Enhancing Intercultural Cooperation through Performing and Screen Arts” provides an opportunity to expand intercultural cooperation through art and culture.

The project is financed by the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021, Program PA 14 “Cultural Entrepreneurship, Heritage and Cooperation” with the financial contribution of the Republic of Iceland, the Principality of Liechtenstein and the Kingdom of Norway and national co-financing with the Program Operator Ministry of Culture, in the amount of €74,956.56 .

It is implemented in partnership between the “Spaces” Foundation, the Art and Culture Foundation – the city of Sofia, with a partner, the “Don’t Blink in Front of Bulgarian Cinema” Foundation – the city of Sofia.”

The main goal of the FreeSpiritArt project is to promote intercultural cooperation for better integration of the Roma ethnic group and its rapprochement with other communities and cultures through the stage and screen arts.
